In summer it has a beautiful magic, with its crowded streets and bars full of people. In winter, the grand road is covered with lights and an incredible Christmas atmosphere.

Madrid is beautiful in summer, winter, autumn or spring. If you are learning Spanish in Madrid, enjoying this chameleon city is a must.

Spring is one of the best times of the year to be in Madrid. If you are lucky to finish your Spanish classes soon, you can take advantage of the day with a lot of fun plans that you will see Madrid with different eyes. One of the most beautiful things is to enjoy the almond blossoms in the Quinta de los Molinos. Madrid in spring has a special colour. Although it is important to learn Spanish, knowing the city and its landscapes can open your mind to new horizons.

Spring is the best time of the year to go out and enjoy a good beer in La Latina. The heat isn't suffocating and at night you may need a denim jacket, but you'll be so comfortable that you won't want to go home. When you leave your Spanish school, you can take advantage of it and go for a walk in Madrid Rio, a beautiful place where you can enjoy a bike ride.

Autumn is also a beautiful time to enjoy Madrid in a unique and different way. It is the moment when the leaves fall to the ground and Madrid is dyed yellow and brown. The temperature is excellent, so even if you leave late your Spanish course in Madrid, you can still enjoy wonderful walks, picnic in the open air or enjoy “Las fiestas del Pilar”.

Possibly the best time of year is winter. Obviously, the temperature is cold, and you will need gloves and hat. Enjoy the holidays of your Spanish classes and enjoy the Plaza Mayor market. You will see a festive Madrid atmosphere, Christmas in its purest state. Of course, it's not suitable for claustrophobics. It tends to be crowded and, although it's a beautiful, yet enlightened place and a great Christmas atmosphere, you may feel a little overwhelmed.

For enjoying Madrid in summer, the best thing you can do is go to the mountains and take a dip in the swamps. Although museum plans are also a good option. Learning Spanish won't be more fun than this time of year, where the streets are much emptier and you can see Madrid without tripping over anyone.
