C2 LEVEL DELE EXAM

The C2 level Spanish diploma accredits that the holder can make use of the language to handle any situation. As such, they can understand practically everything they hear or
read, regardless of the text’s length, complexity or level of abstraction. In addition, they can express themselves spontaneously, fluently and with great precision. They can
distinguish nuances of meaning, even in academic and professional contexts. In order to obtain the DELE C2 certificate, the candidate must pass the three components
that make up the full exam:

Part 1. Use of language, reading and listening comprehension. The candidate has 105 minutes to answer 52 questions after reading several texts and listening to some
recordings.

Part 2. Integrated skills: written expression, communication and interaction. The candidate has 150 minutes to complete 3 tasks. They will need to summarise information,
rewrite and write formal texts.

Part 3. Integrated skills: oral expression, communication and interaction. Candidates must prepare a monologue based on a given topic. After that, they have a conversation with the
examiner on that same topic and, finally, discuss newspaper headlines. This part takes 30 minutes.
