If you are learning Spanish for sure one of your goals is to pass the B2 level of the DELE exam. Therefore, it is important that you prepare well for all the examinations so that you can pass the exam and get your official diploma. But what does level b2 accredit and what tests do you have to pass in order to pass level B2 of the DELE exam?
Level B2 of the DELE exam: all you need to know
The diploma B2 of the DELE exam is awarded by the Instituto Cervantes, in charge of the diffusion of the Spanish language. In this sense, when the student passes, he or she obtains a diploma that accredits the student:
They understand the basics of complex oral and written texts. Our students are also able to understand more abstract subjects, even if they are presented in different varieties of Spanish or are of a technical nature. Generally, people understand technical matters from areas of specialized knowledge with which they have or have had contact.
Can interact with all types of speakers with a sufficient degree of fluency and naturalness. This means that communication does not involve efforts on either side.
He believes that he can write clear, detailed texts on a variety of subjects, including those involving dialectical analysis, debate or defence of a point of view.
Level b2 of the DELE Exam: accredited tests
The test is divided into four parts and within each part there are several tests.
Part 1: Reading comprehension. The student has 70 minutes to do 4 exercises. In total there are 36 questions. There are 6 questions in exercise one, 10 questions in the second one, in exercise 3 there are 6 questions and in exercise 4 there are 14 questions. The maximum score is 25 points.
Thereupon, second part: listening comprehension. This part has 40 minutes to do 5 exercises. Each exercise is composed of 30 questions. For the first exercise there are 6 questions. In exercise 2 there are 6 questions. Exercise 4 has 6 questions. Exercise 5 has 6 questions. The maximum score for this part is 25 points.
For the thirth part: Written Expression and Interaction. The duration of this test is 80 minutes and has 2 exercises. The first exercise refers to written interaction and the second exercise refers to written expression. The final score is 25 points.
At the end, fourth part: Oral Expression and Interaction. In this test the student has 20 minutes to do 3 exercises. For number 1, the student will have to evaluate proposals and talk about them. In the second exercise, he must describe a situation imagined from a photograph and talk to the examiner about it. And for the exercise 3, you will have to give your opinion on the data from a survey. The final score is 25.
After that, the student must be trained in all areas: written expression and interaction, reading comprehension, listening comprehension and conversation in order to pass level b2 of the DELE Exam.
